MAP OF THE GLADE
LANDS OF THE GLADE Mapfin11

1 - MT. PELE
A very steep, dangerous composite Volcano. Every couple of years it unleashes it's rage, often causing turmoil for the pack. It also occasionally causes earthquakes, sometimes minor, so small that you can't even feel them. But when the time for it to erupt draws near, these tremors become increasingly violent. And the most pestering virtue of this volcano is it's volcanic fog, which it lets out every couple of months. This is more an annoyance than anything, causing cold-like symptoms and giving the whole territory a hazy look.
2 - LAVA FIELDS
At the base of the volcano lie a vast area of hardened lava. The rock here is completely solid, if a bit smelly and somewhat treacherous. Adventurers should be careful not to trip or otherwise fall, as the rocks so have sharp edges that can hurt.. And even kill, if one is so careless.
3 - NORTHERN FALLS
This place is, indeed, quite beautiful. Every morning the sun rises by these falls, causing the snow capped mountains surrounding them to glimmer, and the river adds to the spectacular show. Wolves looking for an oasis can hang out at the small pool that surrounds the base of the falls, the water is very cool and refreshing during summer months.
4 - PUPPING DEN & PLATEAU
This area is the perfect area for raising young. With plentiful rabbits, hunting is quite easy, and it is a great place for ambitious youngsters to test their stalking skills. To top it off, one wolf holds permanent residence here, a large male by the name of Abaven resides here permanently, he is in charge of making sure predators know that this area is not for them. There is also a large and interesting cave system towards the very east, where mothers can settle down and give birth in safety and comfort.
5 - BISON FIELDS
In these lands, plentiful Bison and even Deer wander and graze. This is a prime area for larger groups of wolves to hunt for food, but eating all of the bison can sometimes be challenging, since it is so far from the main member area. But, if you're looking for a thrill and a challenge, gather a large group of wolves and go hunting!
6 - MIDLAND FALLS
This is another system of smaller waterfalls and rapids towards the westernmost edge of the territory, which is also quite pleasant, but more so during Spring when the water is not too cold nor too hot. Near here resides a blind wolf named Silver, who often needs assistance around the area. As well, her daughter Kalos resides here with her, making sure Silver is not bothered by predators and such.
7 - THE GLADE
The main area where members live. The only remaining portion of the forests, it is very dense and often rather humid. Towards the center of this forest is a small pond, which is clean and also has fish which can be consumed. Small deer also roam here, which make for good hunting. This is where new members are directed to formally join, and it is where the leader, Oromidail, is often found.
8 - ELK FIELDS
A bit easier than Bison and closer to The Glade, this is often where most hunts take place. Smaller teams of wolves can venture here to hunt, and as well as Elk, there are also many rabbits and vermin here which make for an engaging snack time. It's a good stop for new members, too, as hunting for small prey is relatively simple and those who are weary from travel won't have too much of a problem.
9 - LOWLAND FALLS
This is the only place where water is a decent temperature during the winter, as the rest of the rivers and the pond in the Glade are often quite frozen. But, down here, it is often at least much warmer, and daredevils can even swim in it, but caution is encouraged. This is a good area to stop by when first heading to the Glade, as the water is clean and fair tasting.
10 - ENTRANCE TO THE GLADE
Here, we find a large wolf named Bjorn resides here on a near permanent basis, keeping track of wolves that enter and getting them started on their path to membership. Travelers need not be intimidated by his size, he's a fairly friendly brute, even if he is fairly intimidating. Though, travelers be warned, trying to mess with this guy can end in serious injury.. Or even death. He is not to be messed with.. Ever.
